Chicago born, Texas living, internationally loving Erica writes on her days off, helps heal on her days on. By training, she is a Physician Assistant, yoga teacher, public health worker, nutritionist, resilience specialist who works with underserved communities as a partner and teacher in medicine. By craft she runs Shiny Healthy People and Whole Health Collective where she hopes patients and clients will put her out of business as they gain the tools, knowledge, self-awareness, understanding, and use of self-care to heal themselves. She writes because she has to, because she loves it, because its her passion, and because it helps her heal, one word at a time.
